Which fax product do I need?

SmartFax is a plain fax-only software. PhoneWorks can do everything that SmartFax can, plus it has voice answering machine functionality. Pro versions of both products add OCR (Optical Character Recognition) function, which allows producing text (as opposed to a graphical image) output from a received fax document.
